Hugh Davies on virtual clinical trials at the EFGCP Annual Conference

This year’s EFGCP Annual Conference had the theme “Virtual Future: An exploration of the ethical dimensions of emerging technologies in clinical trials and research”, and brought together investigators, research managers and research ethicists to discuss issues from internet-based patient recruitment and informed consent to “citizen science” and the importance of changes in the landscape of regulation around data protection.
